2025 RICO Apprentices & air up
Prototyping for air up
Our Apprentices actively support the AWT-Team
Our apprentices actively supported the AWT team in prototyping for air up, not only taking on important tasks but also gaining valuable insights into the development work. Many found it particularly exciting to work closely with experienced specialists who were glad to pass on their knowledge and share their practical expertise.
One focus was on manual parts demolding and careful quality documentation—two steps that play a central role in prototype construction. These activities require precision, accuracy, and a sense of responsibility, as they form the basis for high process reliability. Through this structured approach, apprentices learn early on how important it is to adhere to standards and reliably record results.
Early involvement in real projects makes a big difference for our trainees: they can immediately apply their theoretical knowledge in practice and experience first-hand how complex products are created. At the same time, this experience not only strengthens their technical skills, but also important personal skills. Team spirit, personal responsibility, and solution-oriented work in particular develop through working together on real challenges.
We are convinced that those who are actively involved in projects from the outset build a strong foundation for their professional future. That is why we are delighted with the commitment shown by our apprentices—and equally delighted that these experiences enable them to continue to grow and gradually find their place in the team.
We look forward to meeting you in person at K 2025.
This year, as the urgency of the climate debate increases and sustainability moves from being a trendy term to a fundamental necessity, we at RICO Elastomere Projecting GmbH in Austria are proud to deliver on our commitments. We prioritize environmental responsibility not because it's trendy but because it's the right thing to do.
