RICO and Toolmaking
Is toolmaking in Europe facing extinction?
Does European toolmaking still have its future in its own hands?
This key question was the focus of an exciting discussion with leading industry experts at the “Toolmaking with a Future” colloquium held by the Machine Tool Laboratory WZL at RWTH Aachen University
Prof. Wolfgang Boos (WBA), Ulrich Betz (Schneider Form GmbH), Hans Brandner (BBG GmbH & Co. KG), Stefan Huber (Primaform AG, CH-Thun), and Dietmar Klausner from RICO Elastomere Projecting GmbH, moderated by Judith Schulte-Loh (WDR).
Dietmar Klausner contributed the perspective of Austrian toolmaking and showed how innovations and strategic decisions can secure competitiveness in Europe: “Only those who actively develop themselves will remain viable in the future.”
